This event’s funding is given to us by an anonymous donor as a Very Special Christmas Gift to the City of Providence and to benefit the Providence Rescue Mission!
Come to Market Square from 11:30 am on throughout the day & evening
to learn about the Providence Rescue Mission!
TIME OF FIRE: The 32 braziers
from in front of the Citizens Bank building up to College Street bridge
will be lit shortly after sunset
(4:16 p.m.) at 5:00 p.m.
and remain lit until 8:30 p.m.

Bundle up and come down to the river with temperatures in the low 50’s during the day and 20’s in the evening.

of new unwrapped toys and gifts, food, clothing and other
items
for the Providence Rescue Mission.

Stay Warm by the Fires with Cocoa, Christmas Music, Cookies, Carolers, and Santa Claus!
- a visit from and pictures with Santa Claus fro 5-8:30 pm
- there will be Christmas caroling and live bands in Market Square from 5-8:30 pm
- join in with Christmas carolers at the RiSD flag poles from 5:30 - 8:30 pm
- free cookies
- hot beverages - Dunkin Donuts
will be giving out free mint hot chocolate and hot apple cider to
anyone who brings down a donation for the Providence Rescue Mission.

- Join Lite Rock 105 from 5-8 pm,
create fun holiday themed arts and crafts including customized letters
to Santa, plus win fabulous Lite Rock 105 prizes like CD’s, gift cards,
stuffed animals, and more! Enter to win a pair of tickets to see Neil
Diamond June 23rd at the TD Garden in Boston!
- and many other special surprises and festivities that will be in RISD’s Market Square from 11:30 am until 8:30 pm

What Can You Donate?
- Donations of new unwrapped toys and gifts, food, clothing and other items for the Providence Rescue Mission.
- Monetary donations will be accepted as well.
- The Market Square tent will be set up to receive donations of
all kinds and to show case all the wonderful work of the Providence
Rescue Mission.
- Submit your name to win incredible prizes that will be drawn all
day, on an hourly basis, including overnight stays at the Providence
Marriott, gift certificates for dinner at the Capital Grille and the Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant and so much more!
