Contributions:

WaterFire Providence is a non-profit 501(c)3 arts organization and is funded by contributions from many individuals. WaterFire is very grateful to all of our sponsors, but we need your help as well.

Sponsors cover only one-third of the costs of producing WaterFire. While we do not charge a formal admission charge we are asking everyone to make a contribution at the event.  We need your donations to continue to produce this event. All contributions to WaterFire are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

There are many ways you may contribute to WaterFire Providence and keep the fires burning.  We greatly appreciate all your support.

At the event 

Ribbons of Light  When you come to WaterFire add your light to the night.  Support WaterFire with a contribution of $3 or more and receive a blue Ribbon of Light.  Become a part of the event and enjoy the river of light.

Come into the park and make your donation at any of the WaterFire stations marked by the illuminated blue balloon sculptures.  Every dollar goes to support WaterFire.

Luminaria Candle Lanterns  At the event you are invited to dedicate and place a Luminaria Candle Lantern in the park to make a wish or to honor someone or an accomplishment.  These are available for a donation of $10.

Wishes and Sorrows Orbs   Please write your wishes or sorrows on colored paper and have them spectacularly conveyed to the flames around 11:00.

Join the Brazier Society  Please join the WaterFire Brazier Society that offers a special reception area wiht food and drink and memorable boat rides through the midst of the fires for our major donors.
