WaterFire Providence presents the artwork WaterFire to inspire Providence and its visitors, revitalize the urban experience, foster community engagement, and creatively transform the city.

WaterFire Providence is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization and all contributions are tax decutible.  It is presented for free by the generosity of our donors and sponsors.  We greatly appreciate your contributions.  We can’t do it without you!

At the event 

Ribbons of Light  When you come to WaterFire add your light to the night.  Support WaterFire by visiting our volunteers by the tall blue column of light and make your contribution of $3, $5, $10 or more.  For your donation you will receive a gift of a luminous blue Ribbon of Light.  Give what you can and become a part of the artwork and join the river of light.

Please make your donation at any of the WaterFire stations marked by the illuminated blue columns.  Every dollar goes to support WaterFire.  Please note that the commercial vendors selling flashing light-up novelties are not sanctioned by WaterFire and do not contribute to the event.

Luminaria Candle Lanterns  At the event you are invited to dedicate and place a Luminaria Candle Lantern in the park to make a wish or to honor someone or celebrate an accomplishment.  These are available for a donation of $5.  For more information please click here.

Wishes and Sorrows Orbs   Please write your wishes or sorrows on colored paper and have them spectacularly conveyed to the flames around 11:00.
